Little S Ranch began development in June 2006, and continues to grow!
Owner/operator Stacie Chisholm has been Barrel racing for 9 years and knows the value of a highly conditioned horse, not only for competition, but also for the health of your horse!
"Last year was Stacie's first year as a professional barrel racer, before that she competed in amateur associations as well as the college rodeo circuit in Texas. Stacie moved here from Cranbroook B.C. where she grew up. She went to school in Snyder Texas for two years on a rodeo scholarship. She got her degree in Criminal Justice/Corrections. It was there where she used this machine, and was very happy with the impact it had on her horses and she figured that there was a great need for a facility like this in Canada. She spent time at the pool in Texas as well learning how the machine works and dealing with all the different scenarios you may have with each different horse. A lot of horsemanship goes into each day at the ranch. We treat the horses as if they are own and spend the time it takes to make each horse feel comfortable and safe throughout their stay."
